Who is responsible
The controller for the data on this site is a private individual who runs it on a non-commercial basis. You can get in touch through the site's contact form.
Why your data is used
Your data is used only to run the site and reply to your messages. The lawful basis is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the UK GDPR), with consent where required (Article 6(1)(a)). We never sell or rent your data.
Your data protection rights
The UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 let you access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, request portability, and withdraw consent. These rights can be used through the contact form on this site. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the United Kingdom supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk.
Retention
Data is kept only as long as needed and then deleted, unless the law requires longer. Server logs are held briefly.
What is collected
Only the data needed to reply is collected: the name and email you give, an optional phone number, your message and technical data like your IP address. Sensitive data is not requested.
Cookie notice
Only strictly necessary cookies are used. Advertising or analytics cookies are set only with your consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), withdrawable at any time. Your browser settings also let you refuse cookies.
Data security
Data travels over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access is limited to those who need it. Appropriate technical and organisational measures guard against loss, alteration or unauthorised disclosure.
Changes
This policy is updated when the law or the service changes. The current version on this site is the one in force.
